Geneva adviser names new CIO

Geneva-based adviser PLEION SA has hired Benoît Derwael as its new CIO, the firm has announced.

Derwael will lead a team of six people covering the firm’s investment universe. He started in the role on 1 October 2018.

Derwael previously worked at Pentagram as a senior portfolio manager for more than five years. Prior to that, he was an investment adviser at Julius Baer and a senior portfolio manager at ING.
